Operation: Madagascar
Holiday 2007
All flights and accommodation arranged by Karen of Exclusive Island Holidays,
representing Vakana Tours of Madagascar.
Below is a day-by-day account of my experiences.
These were jotted down at the end of each day in a little school note book I
purchased in Madagascar.
With the exception of the removal of gross spelling and grammatical errors,
what I have typed up onto the webpage is what I scribbled down in the note
books using the free pen I got from Madagascar Airlines.
There are many nice glossy pictures taken by yours
truly whose photographic expertise is less than admirable.
This trip would not of been possible without
Karen’s insistence I avoid the filthy sordid den of child prostitution that is Nose Bay—so
killifish fans, you will not read anything here about Patchypanchax. You will read all about the wonderful accommodation
at Chez Vavate and the delightful
people of the islands of Saint Marie and Illes Aux Nattes. You will also
glimpse a bit of Antananarivo
and the Hotel La Ribaudiere (and its excellent food!).
